The ability of open crowds to produce useful and novel solutions is significant research practical interest. Much the existing has assumed that crowd participants approach problem-solving autonomously independently one another. In Stack Exchange network, we explored problems posted by sequences suggestions comments leading up a solution was judged seeker as for solving problem. suggestions, found indications self-organization emergently accumulated knowledge in specific patterns were more likely lead accepted solutions. contained positive negative forms feedback ensuring would, on its own without external governance intervention, engage actions eventually led total, based observed accumulation patterns, three principles derived incorporated into theory creative generation crowds. Our development suggests implications specifically, well new organizational forms.
